HARPER WOODS, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police have a suspect in custody believed to be involved in the murder of a 60-year-old retired General Motors worker.

Harper Woods Police Chief Jim Burke says the unidentified suspect is being held without bond on felony murder charges.

On Feb. 14, the body of Johnny Buckner was discovered inside his home on Old Homestead. Police believe the suspect shot Buckner and stole his 2001 Cadillac DeVille.

Burke says detectives presented a warrant request to prosecutors on Thursday. He expected an arraignment as early as Friday.
