Feds seek suspect in Alpharetta bank robbery

ALPHARETTA, Ga. -

The FBI in Atlanta says they are looking for a suspect who is wanted in connection with the armed robbery an Alpharetta bank on Monday.

According to the FBI, the suspect entered the BB&T Bank located on Northpoint Parkway at around 9:53 a.m, and announced he was robbing the bank. At the teller station, he placed a handgun onto the counter. After receiving the money he demanded, the suspect left the bank.

Investigators describe the suspect as a black male with a slender build in his mid to late 30s. He is between 5'6' to 5'9" tall, and weighs around 160 pounds.
