Food delivery drivers robbed on Far South Side: Alert

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
Police issued an alert on Wednesday warning food delivery drivers on the Far South Side of a recent increase in robberies of drivers in the area.
The alert was issued for the Calumet District about incidents in which the driver arrived at the delivery location and called the customer to let them know they had arrived with their order.
Shortly after the call, the driver is approached outside by men who robbed them. They have implied they had a weapon, but no weapon has been shown.
The robbers were described as black males, between 20 and 29, between 6 feet and 6-foot-2, and 185-210 pounds.
