CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Friends of an Aurora teen who was murdered last week have set up a memorial fund to help pay for her funeral.

Abigail Villalpando's burned body was found in a wooded area Saturday. Police say she was beaten to death with a hammer.

Villalpando was a waitress at a Denny's in Aurora and a former co-worker says the restaurant has already contributed $2,000 to the fund.

Three men have been charged in connection with the murder.
