
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MONDAY
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until noon Monday. 3-6" of snow is possible north of I-88 and 1-3" possible between I-80 and I-88 and in NW Indiana. South of I-80 little or no snow is expected.
The morning commute is messy Monday morning especially from the city north and northwest between 5 AM and 9 AM. Expressways and areas south of the city will face a messy commute between 8 AM and 11 AM.
Another storm will pass the area on Tuesday morning delivering an additional inch of snow. Then we switch it up with temperatures in the upper 30s and a chance of rain on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
MONDAY: Winter Weather Advisory through noon. Cloudy with periods of snow mainly in the morning. Totals from Sunday night and Monday will be 2-6". An additional 1-2" of Lake Effect snow may be possible in some places Highs near 24 and lows near 8.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow in the morning. Highs near 26 and lows near 18.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny with highs near 30 and lows near 25.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy and warmer with a chance of rain. Highs near 37 and lows near 26.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny with highs near 35 and lows near 25.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain or storms in the afternoon and overnight. Highs near 38 and lows near 34.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and storms turning to wet snow in the evening. Highs near 41 and lows near 30.
