Let It Rip: Belle Isle lease deal goes bust

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

The battle over Belle Isle ended with no winners.  When the city council delayed a vote on the lease deal with the state, the governor backed out.  So what's next for Detroit's crown jewel?

Plus, Minister Malik Shabazz once called the consent agreement a white conspiracy to take over Detroit.  Why this black leader is ready to make a surprising choice in the race for mayor.
