The Technical Data Analyst will work within the Product group at Networked Insights, one of the fastest growing companies in the marketing analytics space. He/she will support the growth of our proprietary platform, SocialSense to integrate marketing data with social data.
Specifically the Technical Data Analyst will be responsible for the following activities:
Create ETL processes to extract marketing data from third party/first party sources into a relational database and integrate the data into existing data to support product development and analytics
Onboard data from social media data sources into a test bed for evaluation using a framework and make improvements to the framework as needed. Includes data analysis, validation, and certification of data.
Work closely with the Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams on a regular basis
Required Experience and Skills
• 3-5 year of experience in relational database development including a high degree of command with SQL
• Strong ETL skills
• Java programming skills will be beneficial
• Experience with Postgres or other open source RDBMS not required, but highly desired
• Working knowledge of development with complex, high volume non-transactional systems
• Strong analytical skills
• Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Technology Related Major
