ATLANTA -
Atlanta police has executed a search warrant at Bill Lowe Galleries in Midtown Atlanta.
In 2010, FOX 5's I-Team first revealed how the stylish midtown gallery owner actually owed artists for work he sold on commission, but never gave them their share of the money.
At that time, court judgments against Bill Lowe Gallery totaled more than a half million dollars.
Some artists told the I-Team they wanted Bill Lowe charged with theft.
Lowe blamed his money problems on the Great Recession, but the I-Team found tax liens against him stretching back to the 1990s.
Atlanta police seized a computer and some files. They won't say what they were looking for but no one was arrested.
