CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
A man has been charged with murder for fatally shooting his brother during a "domestic" dispute outside a South Side Englewood home Friday afternoon.
Larry Peters, 63, was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the 3 p.m. shooting in the 5800 block of South Shields Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Joshua Purkiss.
He allegedly shot Ronald Peters in the back with a shotgun during a dispute outside the deceased's home, according to authorities. The 50-year-old man was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County where he later died.
Larry Peters also lived in the same block, where a weapon was recovered after the shooting, police said.
A police source said the men were brothers.
A judge ordered Larry Peters held without bond during a Sunday hearing, according to the Cook County Sheriff's office.
