Police have issued a missing person alert for a South Side man who was last seen last Thursday getting ready for work but who did not show up for work and hasn't been seen since.
Gregory Wagner, 45, of the 6600 block of South Champlain, was last seen last Thursday getting ready for work, the alert said, but he never showed up for work and did not return home, the alert said.
Wagner is a black man with a medium complexion, who has gray hair and brown eyes. He is 6-feet, 2-inches tall and 290 pounds. He may be wearing a black leather jacket. Police say he may have high blood pressure and may also have diabetes.
If anyone sees him they should call 911 or Area Central detectives, at (312) 747-8380.
