CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
City attorneys are making the case Wednesday as to why they want jail sentences re-instated for the owners of the E2 nightclub, where a tragedy occurred.
In 2009, a jury found Calvin Hollins and Dwain Kyles guilty of "indirect criminal contempt" for ignoring a city housing court, which told them to close the club because of structural problems.
Twenty-one people were crushed to death in a stampede at that nightclub in 2003.
That case was argued before the Illinois Supreme Court Wednesday.
