CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Police have issued an alert for businesses in the Central District after two men held up a cell phone store on the Near West Side.
The armed robbery occurred in the 600 block of West Roosevelt Road, the alert said.
Two men, one of who wore a ski mask, entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded cell phones and cash. The man in the black neoprene mask carried a green military-like duffle bag into which they loaded cell phones.
The men were described as black, between 25 and 30. The one with the mask was 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11, while the other was 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, wearing a black knit hat, an "Oxford" urban wear jacket, and plaid scarf.
Anyone with information should call Area Central detectives at (312) 747-4383.
