CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Cook County State's Attorney Anita Alvarez has suspended two prosecutors. She said they are ultimately responsible for not charging a Cicero man, for threatening to torch his kids.
Police said 29-year-old Nathaniel Beller ultimately did what he threatened to do.
Beller died in the fire he is suspected of setting in his Lawndale home just before the beginning of 2013. Police said he poured gasoline on his girlfriend and their two children.
Beller's son is the only one who survived the fire.
