Rain, sleet, freezing rain and snow will fall Saturday night and into Sunday morning. This will create a mess on roadways and walkways with the potential of 1-3" snow west and north of the city and less than an inch of snow south and east of the city. There is also the possible for 1/10" to 2/10" of ice accumulation in some areas. Temperatures dropped on Saturday from 53 in the morning to 33 in the early evening as a cold front passed the area. Sunday will remain below freezing and any rain will like freeze creating slippery spots. Sunshine returns on Monday through Tuesday with a chance of light snow on Wednesday. Temperatures finally rise to freezing and above late Wednesday and Thursday, but they will hover close to seasonal norms in the 30s rather than the unseasonable 50s we enjoyed late last week.
