A gray, but very mild Friday afternoon as high temperatures soared into the 50s for many spots.
The weekend starts out mild and dry with temperatures in the upper 40s, but a cold front will move through Saturday night bringing a big cool down along with a wintry mix of precipitation into Sunday morning. Some areas could see up to 1" of snow. Little or no ice accumulation is expected.
High temperatures will drop into the upper 20s on Sunday with wind chills in the lower teens.
Most of next week looks fairly quiet in terms of a major storm system. Temperatures will be typical for mid January.
There is some light snow in the forecast next Wednesday.
