WINDER, Ga. (AP) - A search warrant has led to police seizing ten pounds of marijuana, $3,000 in cash and two firearms from three men in Barrow County.
Sheriff's officials say they put a house in Winder under surveillance after receiving a tip about drug activity and raided the house after they established probable cause.
Police say two occupants, 55-year-old Charles McDaid and 29-year-old Darrell Jackson were arrested, along with 22-year-old Mario Peters of Statham. Peters jumped through a window to try escaping after a SWAT team entered the house.
Authorities say McDaid and Jackson are charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and additional offenses. Peters is charged with drug offenses and with obstructing an officer.
It is unclear if the men have lawyers.
