When there's big excitement about a celebrity and money to be made, the paparazzi are downing energy drinks and climbing on top of each other to make sure they get a good shot.
So what does it say about Kim Kardashian when a photographer waiting to get a shot of her, falls asleep?
Kardashian turned the tables on a paparazzo this weekend in Miami and made sure it hit Instagram.
A photographer was staking out one of her photo shoots, but dozed off while waiting for her show up. Kardashian and her staff then snapped a shot of him and posted it online with the caption: "this pap fell asleep on the job and missed my whole photo shoot! #luckyme #unlucky him."
So what does it mean that the photographer fell asleep? Is Kim is overexposed and not a hot commodity anymore? Or maybe it's just that the man lacked sleep, or is just bad at his job?
There's something interesting about overexposure in the latest era of pop culture. Even if Kim Kardashian is overexposed, it's not necessarily a bad thing for her.
According to Forbes magazine, Kim Kardashian is the most overexposed celebrity from 2012.
Even so, she still reportedly earned $18 million from May of 2011 to May of 2012 and the experts who conducted the poll said overexposure is no longer the kiss of death in Hollywood.
For reality TV stars, they say it's actually necessary to always be in the spotlight. That's apparently how to keep people watching your shows and buying your products.
Lindsey Lohan was number two on the Forbes list. For her, it may not be good news. The pollsters say people who want to be serious movie actresses can be hurt by overexposure.
