Slightly obese may translate to longer life, Bethenny Frankel divorce: Chat Room

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

On Thursday's Chat Room, lifestyle consultant Rochelle Trotter and comedian Patti Vasquez dished on fat and Frankel!

A new study was just released which indicates that people who are "slightly obese" tend to live longer than those in a "normal" weight range.

Patti thinks if a little fat makes you happy, then what's the deal? The study should have been called "Healthy and Happy." Rochelle thinks this is just a joke, and stated that maybe a fast food giant is behind this ridiculous information.

Next the hot topic of the morning was Bethenny Frankel's divorce. Frankel, who announced her divorce while revealing she had a pre-nup, is now seeking to possibly hire the same attorney Katie Holmes used in her divorce. Why, if her pre-nup is so airtight, does she need this powerhouse?

Rochelle thinks that perhaps her soon-to-be ex, who reportedly has acted as her business manager in some instances, could have helped build the Skinnygirl Margarita company which really put her on the millionaire map when she sold the brand to Jim Beam. That, and other aspects of her empire could be up for grabs, unless she had a post-nup put into place when those business were built. Patti agrees, stating that if he had anything to do with developing her business empire then he should have rights to some of the assets she has garnered. Hopefully he was smart enough to build that into anything he worked on for Frankel.

Check out Patti Vasquez on the new reality TV series, "My Life is a Joke," which debuts on OWN Network this Sunday, Jan. 6 at 9 p.m. CST.
