
As a clipper-type winter storm passes Chicago on Thursday, we will experience another shot of cool Canadian air - bringing clouds and isolated flurries. Highs will dip back into the upper 20s with breezy westerly winds.
By Friday, high pressure builds in with sunshine and a warm-up to the mid-30s.
No major storm system is expected through the weekend, with warmer temperatures than normal. But there is a chance of light snow Saturday afternoon and evening.
By Monday temperatures start an impressive climb to the 40s and near 50 on Wednesday.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy with a flurry possible. Highs near 29 and lows near 17.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny with highs near 36 and lows near 21.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny with snow showers in the afternoon and at night. Highs near 37 and lows near 27.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with a flurry. Highs near 33 and lows near 23.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny with highs near 41 and lows near 30.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny with highs near 45 and lows near 32.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny and unseasonably warm with highs near 50 and lows near 34.
