Ebony magazine mourns death of beloved managing editor

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The Managing Editor of Ebony magazine has died. The magazine says Terry Glover died of colon cancer on Monday at her Chicago home.

Glover joined ebony in 2006 and was appointed managing editor in 2009.

Colleagues called her "the heart and soul" of the magazine's team.

She's a graduate of Northwestern University and she previously worked for Playboy, Savoy and Uptown magazines.

Glover was 57.
