A crew of creeps spoiled Christmas Eve for a group of families living on the same block in a Warren neighborhood.
The grinches broke into several cars along Malvina Drive Sunday night, stealing Christmas gifts and other valuables from inside the vehicles.
A few of the cars had garage remotes, which the thieves used to open the doors, stealing even more items and vandalizing property.
Shaina Geml's parents live on the block. She attends Purdue University, but is in town for the holidays.
"I woke up to my mother crying, then realized what had happened," Geml told Fox 2.
Neighbor Christine Meadows met with the same fate when she went out to her car Monday morning.
"I creeped around, said 'What the hell's going on?' My car was in shambles," she told Fox 2.
Warren Police say 8 homes were victimized. They're still investigating the crimes, trying to put together information that may lead to identifying the culprits.
The thieves got away with a bunch of stuff, but despite that, the holiday spirit is still alive and well on Malvina.
