Chicago police are investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old boy in the Logan Square neighborhood.
Police said someone shot the boy in the back of the head when he was riding in a car near Diversey and Pulaski early Sunday morning.
The shots were fired about 2:18 a.m. in the 3500 block of West Diversey Avenue.
A friend drove the boy to Norwegian-American Hospital. He was transferred to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he was listed in "stable" condition.
He is expected to be okay. Police have made no arrests as Area North detectives investigate.
