CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Bill Zwecker stopped by Tuesday morning to give us some insight on the new Judd Apatow movie "This is 40," War Horse in Chicago and a special "American Idol" offer.

Director-producer Judd Apatow teamed up with his wife, actress Leslie Mann for the new adult comedy, "This is 40" - a sort-of sequel to Apatow's hit "Knocked Up." The film stars Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann as a couple in crisis as their 40th birthdays approach.

Their on-screen daughters are played by Mann and Apatow's real-life little girls, Iris and Maude Apatow.

We sat down with the couple recently during a visit to Chicago, and asked them how they keep their two young girls so well grounded despite life in the spotlight.

By the way, Apatow enjoyed dinner at Table 52 while they were in town. He had Chef Art Smith's famous fried chicken.

"This is 40" also features a hilarious performance by Chicago's own Melissa McCarthy, who worked with Apatow previously on "Bridesmaids."

War Horse, the play that went from the theater to the silver screen last year, opens Tuesday night at the Cadillac Palace Theatre.

The story follows one boy's journey through WWI with his beloved horse. This production employs the talents of some great puppeteers to make this possible on stage. The play runs through Jan. 5, 2013.

"American Idol" has a holiday treat for fans.

Stop by the Orland Square Mall today through Christmas Eve for complimentary "Idol" gift wrapping, from 12 p.m.-8 p.m. each day.

While you're getting your gifts wrapped in "American Idol" paper, you can also check out previews of the upcoming Season 12, which premieres Jan. 17 on FOX.

They will also have volunteers from the Red Cross on hand to help people make donations for Hurricane Sandy relief this holiday season.
