43-year-old killed, 2 teens in custody after West Side fight

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A man died after he was involved in fight with two teenagers Wednesday night on the West Side, police said.

Anton Baker, 43, was visiting a friend in the 1000 block of North Leclaire Avenue about 11 p.m. when the fight broke out, authorities said.

Baker, of the 1400 block of Roosevelt Road in Broadview, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died at 11:39 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

The two juveniles, described as teenagers, were taken into custody, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

No charges were filed as of early Thursday.
