Police: 1 dead, 1 injured in shooting on Detroit's east side

DETROIT (WJBK) -- Police say one person is dead and another injured after an early morning shooting on the city's east side.
Officers arrived on the scene in the 13500 block of Cedargrove around 5:30 a.m. Thursday to find two men who sustained gunshot wounds to their bodies. Both were transported to a local hospital where police say one man died. The other was listed in serious condition.
The victim's identities were not released.
Circumstances leading up to the shooting were unknown.
