Inmate attempts to pull officer into Fulton County Jail cell - Chicago News and Weather | FOX 32 News

There's been another violent incident inside the Fulton County Jail. Authorities say that inmate John Lezie Muhammad came out of his cell, grabbed a female detention officer, and attempted to pull her into his cell.

According to documents obtained by FOX 5, Officer Jacquelyn Brooks "punched the inmate to try to get him to stop but he would not comply."

Two prisoners heard Officer Brooks scream and ran over to that cell to free her from the inmate.

Brooks sustained minor injuries during the confrontation.
