WARREN, Mich. (WJBK) -

FOX 2 has learned the FBI is conducting a series of raids at locations tied to the brother of former Detroit Metro Airport CEO Turkia Mullin.

Raids are happening at the Premier Health and Wellness Center on Schoenherr, which is owned by Mullins' brother, Dr. Hussien "Sam" Awada. According to reports the raid there and at a location on E. 12 Mile in Warren are part of an investigation into the illegal sale of prescription narcotics.

So far there is no indication the raids haven anything to do with the ongoing FBI investigation of Mullin and alleged corruption in Wayne County government. Mullin was fired in October of 2011 after only two months on the job following a messy severance deal.
