Blog: Kwame Kilpatrick trial delayed again

Updated:

(WJBK) -- Good Morning from the Fox 2 studios in Southfield. An injured lawyer is recovering after a fall Monday at the Theodore Levin Federal Court House in Detroit delaying the Kilpatrick Inc. public corruption trial for at least a day.

Bobby Ferguson's attorney Susan Van Dusen tripped and fell face-first onto a marble floor on Monday.  Court officials say she was taken to the hospital but appears to be okay.

Court officials say Judge Nancy Edmunds decided to take the day off to let Van Dusen recover.  The say Judge Edmunds expects the trial to resume on Wednesday.
