(WJBK) -- A disgruntled father really wanted to let his adult children know how disappointed he is in them. Nick Crews wrote his kids a lengthy email detailing what a letdown their lives have been for him and his wife.
The 67-year-old retired English Naval Captain says he's fed up with watching his wife listen to his children vent about their problems. His biggest gripes: failed marriages and dead-end jobs.
Here's an excerpt from the e-mail: "I can now tell you that I for one have had enough of being forced to live through the never-ending bad dream of our children's underachievement and domestic ineptitude's. I want to hear no more from you until you have a success or an achievement or a realistic plan for the support and happiness of your children."
Crews goes on to say "quit your whining. You've screwed up your lives and now you're going to be a letdown for my grandchildren."
He suggests maybe if they had used the education he paid for to get real jobs or chosen better spouses, they wouldn't have quite so much to whine about.
