150 websites shut down for Cyber Monday scams

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The federal government shut down 150 websites in a Cyber Monday crackdown on websites trying to rip off consumers.

The immigration and customs enforcement group also known as ICE shutdown the sites for selling counterfeit merchandise and nonexistent goods.

Most of the merchandise involved sites for DVDs, jewelry and sports jerseys.
