Fuller Park residents should be wary of armed robbers: Alert

Police are warning South Side residents after a recent string of armed robberies within a few blocks in the Fuller Park neighborhood.

In all three robberies, at least one man approached the victims and robbed them at gunpoint, the alert said.

The latest robbery happened Saturday about 7:15 p.m. in the 4900 block of South Langley Avenue. The first occurred Nov. 16 about 6:30 p.m. in the 700 block of East 50th Street, and another Nov. 17 about 1:45 p.m. in the 4900 block of South Drexel Boulevard.

The robbers are described as:

A black male, 5-foot-7 and 170 pounds;

Two black males between 22 and 23 years old, standing about 5-foot-8, weighing about 150 pounds with dark complexion, and;

A black male between 19 and 29 years old, 5-foot-11, 160 pounds and a medium complexion.
