November 19: Clouds and 50s on Monday

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A weak front approaches from the west on Monday. We will see southerly winds keeping temperatures in the 50s, but we will also have mostly cloudy skies and isolated showers late Monday night and very early Tuesday morning.

Wednesday through Thanksgiving could top 60 degrees with breezy south winds before another front passes on Thanksgiving night. This could trigger some isolated showers and colder air arrives behind the front.

Plan on 40s and even upper 30s for Black Friday and Saturday.

Looking ahead we may see our first brush with a winter storm and even possible snow the Monday or Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Stay tuned for that one.

MONDAY: Clouds move in and skies will be overcast most of the day. A shower is possible late at night. Highs near 57 and lows near 45.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny with an isolated shower possible near dawn. Highs near 58 and lows near 36.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and breezy with highs near 60 and lows near 43.

THANKSGIVING: Partly sunny and breezy with highs near 63 and lows near 36. There is a chance of rain at night.

FRIDAY: Partly sunny, breezy and much cooler with highs near 46 and lows near 30.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and cool with highs near 40 and lows near 31.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny with highs near 48 and lows near 36.
