It could be one heck of a holiday season shopping spree for whomever wins the next Powerball jackpot. No one matched all the numbers drawn in Saturday night's Powerball game, and the estimated grand prize for the multi-state lottery game rose to $250 million.
The grand prize for Saturday night's drawing was $214 million. The winning numbers were: 03 - 15 - 27 - 58 and 59, and the Power Ball number was 20.
The closest anyone in Illinois came to the jackpot was one player who matched five of five numbers, according to the Illinois Lottery. That person, who will collect $1 million, bought their ticket at the Stadium Liquors, 5641 W. 79th St., in Burbank. One other Illinois player matched four of five numbers and the Powerball, and they will receive $10,000, according to the Illinois Lottery.
The next Powerball drawing will be held on Wednesday night.
