Police ask public to help find dangerous Stickney burglars

STICKNEY, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
Police are seeking information about a burglary Thursday morning in west suburban Stickney.
A woman entered her garage about 6:15 a.m. in the 5300 block of West 51st Street in Stickney and surprised two men who were burglarizing the garage, according to a release from the Cook County Sheriff's office.
One of the men grabbed the woman by the throat, punched her eyes, pulled a knife from his pocket and cut her clothing, the release said. She was punched in the stomach and shoved on the floor before both men fled.
One suspect is described as an African American male, mid to late 30s, 6-foot-4, 175 pounds, thin build, dark complexion, medium length braided hair, a patchy growth goatee, one gold front tooth, one clear stone earring in each ear, black rimmed glasses, and a partial tattoo of the letter "J" on the left side of his neck. He was last seen wearing a blue knit hat, a brown leather jacket, dark clothing, black leather gloves, and gad strong smokers breath, the release said.
The other suspect is a Hispanic male, also mid to late 30s, 5-foot-4, heavy set, medium length curly black hair, thick eyebrows, medium complexion and a full short cropped beard. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, white t-shirt, black cloth gloves, black jogging pants and white high top gym shoes, according to the release.
