11/20: Part time Veterinary Assistant

Part-time Veterinary Technician/Assistant wanted for Lake Street Animal Hospital in Roselle, IL. An AAHA-certified small animal general 4 doctor practice. We provide compassionate, well-managed care for our patients and exceptional service to our clients. We are looking for highly motivated, flexible, detailed-oriented individuals to join our team. Qualified applicants preferably have 2 or more years of veterinary experience. Applicants must have excellent animal-handling skills, and must also be skilled with computers (knowledge of veterinary software a plus), telephones, customer service, and be outstanding communicators. Strong preference is given to those with more extensive work experience and/or advanced technical skills. Applicants who are enthusiastic about cross training to support all aspects of our team, customer service, are also preferred.

Part-time position will average 15-20 hours per week. Hourly pay will be based on experience/skill level. Hours may vary and will include evenings and some mandatory Saturdays. Applicants with flexible availability very strongly preferred.
