November 16: 50s and sunny on Friday

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Get ready for a stretch a fairly mild weather over the next several days.

High pressure will be the dominating weather feature starting Friday and through the early part of next week.

Light northeast winds will allow for mostly sunny skies and dry air to settle in over the Chicago area on Friday.

By the weekend, winds will turn more from the south resulting in a nice warm up with highs in the lower 50s.

Our next chance of any rain comes Tuesday, but nothing major is expected.

Friday: Mostly sunny and a little warmer. Highs: 46-51 Lows: 35-40

Saturday: Mostly sunny and pleasant. Highs: 50-55 Lows: 38-43

Sunday: Mostly sunny and continued nice. Highs: 50-55 Lows: 38-43

Monday: Partly sunny and continued nice. Highs: 50-55 Lows: 40-45

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs: 50-55 Lows: 40-45

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and mild. Highs: 51-56 Lows: 40-45

Thanksgiving Day: Mostly sunny and mild. Highs: 51-56 Lows: 40-45
