CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Chicago firefighters were in mourning Tuesday after the loss of another one of their own.

Walter Patmon Jr. died of a heart attack after making a call Sunday night. He belonged to the firehouse on 95th Street, where they have put up a bunting in his honor.

Another Chicago firefighter, Michael Boyd, passed away after losing his battle with cancer this week. The 17-year veteran worked out of Truck 28 in the 1900 block of North Damen.

But at the Bucktown firehouse, there was a little ray of sunshine Tuesday morning. A North Side woman has found a way to give back, after they helped out an electrical fire at her condo this past summer.

The men at Engine 35 Truck 28 near Armitage and Damen are enjoying their remodeled kitchen very much, thanks to "Kitchen Crashers" host Alison Victoria.

The remodel was performed free of charge. From beginning to end, the entire process took four days to complete.

The redo will be featured on an upcoming episode of "Kitchen Crashers."
