There weren't many treats given out with the Powerball drawing on Halloween night. No one matched all the numbers drawn in the multi-state lottery game Wednesday, and the jackpot increased from an estimated $110 million to $124 million.
The winning numbers in Wednesday night's drawing were: 01 - 27 - 31 - 45 and 48, and the Power Ball number was 05.
The closest anyone in Illinois came to the jackpot was the one person who matched four of five numbers and the Powerball, for a $10,000 prize, according to the Illinois Lottery. Another 23 Illinois Powerball players matched four of five numbers and 58 players matched three of five numbers and the Powerball. Those 81 players will each receive $100.
The next Powerball drawing will be held on Saturday night.
