Limited travel resumes to New York, New Jersey out of O'Hare Airport

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Limited service will resume Wednesday at JFK Airport in New York and Newark Airport in New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy. That's good news for some travelers at O'Hare International.

The storm resulted in more than 15,000 flight cancellations at airports across the country. O'Hare and Midway in Chicago were no exception.

The Department of Aviation said almost 500 flights at O'Hare were cancelled, and more than 75 at Midway.

There were also delays at both airports of up to 30 minutes, due to high winds.
