Man punched, robbed of electronics at Red Line stop

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
An 18-year-old man was punched in the face and robbed of his Blackberry and Ipod at a CTA Red Line subway stop in the South Loop on Monday afternoon.
The man along with another 18-year-old man, were walking up the subway stairs in the 600 block of South State Street after exiting the Red Line Harrison station about 2:30 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez said.
A man in his 20s then punched him in the face and stole his Blackberry and silver Ipod, Perez said. The suspect rain into the station and is believed to have boarded a train in an unknown direction.
The victim was taken in "stable" condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital after suffering cuts, swelling and bruises, Perez said.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s with medium complexion and braided hair, Perez said. He was last seen wearing a cream colored hoodie and blue jeans.
