We first featured this case in 2007, but the publicity did not generate the leads that the FBI needed to track down Frantz Dieudonne which is why the FBI is once again looking for help.
It's offering a reward up to $10,000 for information that leads to Frantz Dieudonne's arrest and conviction.
Back in June 2002, Dieudonne was traveling through Illinois when an State Trooper conducting a well being check on a vehicle that was stopped along I-88 in Aurora found Dieudonne in a vehicle with a young girl.
The trooper became suspicious because he saw the two changing seats in the car and when he approached both people appeared nervous.
A subsequent check revealed that the girl was only 15-years-old and had been reported missing by her family in Utah.
Agents say Dieudonne, who was from New Jersey, met the girl on-line and then drove to Utah to meet her. Agents believe he was headed back to New Jersey when he was arrested here. He was charged with interstate travel for the sexual exploitation of a minor but then released on bond pending trial.
Dieudonne is originally from Haiti and has lived in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Massachusetts. But since 2003, when he failed to appear for court, he has been the subject of an international manhunt. He is trained as a chemist and has worked as a nurse's aide, so it's possible he could be hiding out anywhere.
Here is the description the FBI has for Frantz Dieudonne.
He is a black male, 43-years-old. He's 5'7" and weighs about 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is considered a danger to the community.
