EVANSTON, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
An 18-year-old north suburban man has been charged with the armed robbery of a pizza deliveryman last month, and police continue to look for an alleged accomplice.
The robbery took place about 3:15 a.m. on Sept. 8 in the 800 block of Dobson Street in Evanston, a release from Evanston police said.
A Sarpino's Pizza delivery driver was robbed at knifepoint of two pizzas he was delivering to an address on Dobson, police said.
Detectives investigated and found evidence identifying Terrell L. Farmby of Evanston as a suspect, and he was later positively identified in a line-up, police said.
Farmby was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of armed robbery, a Class X felony. A second offender is still being sought.
Farmby was scheduled to appear in bond court Thursdays, but court information was not immediately available. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 20 at the Skokie Courthouse, according to police.
