Elgin teen charged for body slamming, punching teacher

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
An Elgin teenager will appear in court Thursday afternoon, after getting arrested for attacking a teacher on Wednesday.
Elgin police said the 15-year-old boy slammed the 51-year-old male teacher into a classroom floor. They said he then he punched the teacher four or five times.
The teacher was taken to the hospital with facial injuries. He is expected to fully recover.
The teen is being held at the Kane County Youth Home, facing charges.
