Carts damaged in Plano golf course break-in

PLANO, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police are looking for the people who broke into a southwest suburban Plano golf course and damaged two golf carts.

The person or persons broke into the Cedardell Golf Club in the 14200 block of South Hale Road in Plano between 10 p.m. Oct. 14 and 8 a.m. Oct. 15, according to a release from the Kendall County Sheriff's office.

The intruders broke into the "cart corral area" and put grass seed into the gas tanks of two golf carts and the cut seats, police said. The damage is estimated at $750.
