Skydive Midwest plane that landed on I-94 has had trouble before

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A plane overshot a runway in Wisconsin on Monday and landed on a busy highway instead. The Skydive Midwest aircraft has had trouble before.

Fortunately there was a gap in traffic when the skydiving plane barreled onto I-94 near Racine. There were no serious injuries, and no cars were hit.

The Skydive Midwest plane was involved in another near-disaster in August.

Just a few miles east of the latest crash site, the same plane made an emergency landing in a bean field in August. It either ran out of gas, or had a malfunction with its fuel system.

No one was hurt in that incident either.
