CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Nokia is relocating its Mobile Phones Xpress Internet Services group to Chicago, a move officials say will bring about 150 jobs to the city.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel issued a news release Tuesday announcing the move from the suburb of Itasca. Emanuel says Nokia also will need another 100 more employees in its Chicago office to fill a number of skilled technology jobs.

Nokia's largest office in North America is already located in Chicago, and the mayor's office says ultimately the company will have about 1,500 employees working in the city.

Emanuel has pushed to bring more companies to Chicago since taking office last year. His office says Nokia's move marks the 10th time since then that a company has moved its corporate, regional or divisional headquarters to the city.
