Jackson Jr. accused of using campaign funds to remodel home

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
FOX Chicago News has uncovered lost Jesse Jackson Jr. tapes showing the congressman and his wife, Alderman Sandi Jackson, on a popular home remodeling show on HGTV three years ago.
On the show, the couple was looking for ways to renovate their brick bungalow on Chicago's South Side, but, it's the Jackson's four -bedroom, five-level home in an upscale D.C. community that may be at the center of another federal investigation.
Sources close to the family tell FOX Chicago News that Jesse Jackson Jr. is accused of spending $20,000 out of his campaign fund to re-decorate it.
Those sources say that Congressman Jackson was interviewed by federal agents months before he went on medical leave in June.
The congressman is being treated for bipolar disorder and because of privacy issues, was re-admitted to the Mayo Clinic for rest and privacy Monday.
