Alert: Missing North Park woman

A missing person alert has been issued for a North Park neighborhood woman who was last seen leaving home nearly 10 days ago.

Luz Espinoza, 40, who is also known as Lucy, Linda or Veronica, was last seen leaving her home in the 5000 block of North Pulaski Road about 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 10, the alert said. Police say she uses different names to hide her identity.

She is 5-foot-2 and 115 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and a medium white complexion. She has graying hair and only one front tooth.

Espinoza has been in local hospitals and may not be taking her medication, the alert said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts, they are asked to call Area North Special Victims Unit detectives, at (312) 744-8266.
