CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A Highland Park teen who is accused of killing a 5-year-old girl with her car denied in court that she was huffing before the crash.

Police said Carly Rousso's car jumped a curb in Highland Park on Labor Day, and hit Jaclyn Santos-Sacramento and her family. The 5-year-old girl was killed, and her mom seriously hurt.

Prosecutors said on Friday that Rousso had been huffing from an aerosol can.

Rousso will go on trial in February. She faces up to 26 years in prison if she's convicted.
