CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Dark comedy "Seven Psychopaths" opened Friday, Oct. 12. It's a twisted buddy film surrounding a Hollywood screenwriter, his psychopathic friend and a stolen shitzu.

While audiences may find themselves laughing, there are a lot of violent, dark scenes in this film about a gangster that will do anything to get his dog back.

Good Day Chicago producer Jason Cooper recently got to chat with stars Christopher Walken, Colin Farrell and Sam Rockwell in Los Angeles and asked them that question about the connection between comedy and danger.

Walken said he always thought there was a connection between what makes people laugh and what makes them afraid.

With one of the best ensemble casts, the film also stars Michael Pitt, Abbie Cornish, Olga Kurylenko, Woody Harrelson and Tom Waits.

Cooper also got to do his impression of Walken, for Walken. Check out his reaction in the video above.
